It has been a wonderful four years here serving St Anthony Parish and the Diocese of Jefferson City.  Thank you for all the wonderful well-wishes, cards, and gifts you’ve given me as I leave Camdenton!

We are and have always been a missionary Church.  Since the Apostles evangelized in new lands, there has never been a time that communities didn’t benefit in church history from missionaries:  whether they be from Ireland, Africa, India, or Kansas.  Every time we hear an accent from somewhere else, it reminds us that we are a universal Church.  The more voices (and accents) we hear only add to our strength as a worldwide community of faith that has done as commanded:  Go out to all the world and tell the Good News!
