This weekend we are resuming distribution of Holy Communion by the cup.  Covid forced us to cease using the communion cups, but now we can end this last covid protocol.  On Saturday evening and the early Sunday Mass, we will have two cups available in the center (where the majority of people sit).  We do not have as many communion ministers at those two Masses.  At the 10 am Mass, we will have four cup positions – two in the center and one each on the outer aisles.  When we were at full strength, we had six cup positions, but we are starting off modestly and will wait to see whether participation warrants additional ministers and cups.  It has been long enough that it will take us a little time to get comfortable with the old (now new again) routine.
